In this role, you will lead the end-to-end design lifecycle of next-generation robotic components, transforming complex concepts into high-performance, real-world machinery.
You will work at the intersection of innovation and precision, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to push the boundaries of industrial robotics.
Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and development of robotic arm assemblies and end-effectors.
- Perform advanced structural and thermal FEA analysis to ensure component reliability under extreme loads.
- Design complex parts for additive manufacturing, CNC machining, and injection molding.
- Manage the full product lifecycle from conceptual prototyping to mass production deployment.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous design reviews to maintain quality standards.
- Coordinate with electrical and software teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize weight, cost, and assembly efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in mechanical product design.
- Expert-level proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or NX).
- Demonstrated experience with FEA simulation tools (ANSYS or Abaqus).
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and material selection.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping and shop-floor manufacturing processes.
- Proven track record of taking complex mechanical projects from napkin sketch to market.
