You will lead the development of cutting-edge industrial robotic arms, focusing on precision, efficiency, and high-performance material integration.
In this role, you will transition from initial concept sketches to high-fidelity prototypes, working alongside world-class mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to solve the industry's most complex kinetic challenges.
Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and development of complex robotic sub-assemblies and complete systems.
- Conduct advanced FEA and CFD simulations to optimize structural integrity and thermal management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronics, sensors, and actuators into compact form factors.
- Drive the selection of materials, manufacturing processes, and components to meet rigorous performance standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead design reviews to ensure best practices and technical excellence.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from prototype iteration to full-scale manufacturing readiness.
- Oversee supplier communications and technical specifications to ensure components meet quality benchmarks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in robotic system design or high-precision mechanical engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or NX) and PDM systems.
- Extensive knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) for injection molding, CNC machining, and additive manufacturing.
- Proven ability to perform complex mechanical calculations and reliability analysis.
- Strong background in gear transmission, motor integration, and kinematic design.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to stakeholders.
