Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualization and detailed design of complex robotic sub-systems.
- Perform comprehensive FEA and structural analysis to ensure component reliability and longevity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and software engineering, to ensure seamless system integration.
- Oversee the prototype fabrication process, from rapid prototyping to final assembly.
- Conduct rigorous design reviews and failure mode effects analysis (FMEA).
- Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence across the department.
- Manage design documentation in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical design, preferably in robotics or aerospace.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks or NX preferred).
- Strong understanding of GD&T, material selection, and manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, casting).
- Proven track record in managing complex product development lifecycles.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills in a multidisciplinary team setting.
