Responsibilities
- Design and develop sophisticated mechanical assemblies for industrial robotic platforms.
- Lead the full product lifecycle from conceptualization and prototyping to mass manufacturing.
- Perform advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to ensure structural integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and firmware engineers, to integrate complex sub-systems.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee the fabrication of custom components.
- Optimize designs for cost-efficiency, manufacturability (DFM), and assembly (DFA).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and system integration.
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA, or Siemens NX.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
- Demonstrated experience with high-precision motion control systems or aerospace-grade actuators.
- Excellent communication skills and experience mentoring junior engineering staff.
