We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the development of complex robotic systems and high-precision machinery. You will play a pivotal role in the full product lifecycle, from conceptual ideation to final deployment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and subsystems for high-speed automated machinery.
- Utilize advanced CAD software to create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
- Perform comprehensive FEA and kinematic analysis to ensure structural integrity and system performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical and software engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Lead design reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineering staff.
- Manage rapid prototyping cycles and oversee physical testing of hardware prototypes.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and assembly scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in machine design or industrial robotics.
- Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
- Strong background in GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards.
- Proven experience with precision gearboxes, motor selection, and actuator systems.
- Proficiency in FEA software (ANSYS or SolidWorks Simulation).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholder needs.
