Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end mechanical design of aerospace components using SolidWorks and CATIA
  • Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations to optimize product performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with electrical and software components
  • Develop detailed manufacturing documentation including GD&T drawings and BOMs
  • Conduct prototype testing and validation in our in-house test facilities
  • Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of aerospace experience
  • Expert proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks/CATIA) and simulation software (ANSYS/ABAQUS)
  • Proven track record in developing complex mechanical systems for aerospace or high-tech industries
  • Strong understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes (machining, composites, additive manufacturing)
  • Experience with DO-160 environmental testing standards and failure analysis methodologies
  • Active P.E. license or willingness to obtain within 6 months
