Responsibilities
- Lead design and prototyping of critical aerospace mechanical systems
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations and structural analysis using ANSYS/Abaqus
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integration testing
- Develop detailed manufacturing documentation and GD&T specifications
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Ensure compliance with FAA/EASA certification standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of aerospace mechanical design experience
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and CATIA V5
- Strong background in composite materials and manufacturing
- Professional Engineering (PE) license required
- Proven project management experience with complex systems
