Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex mechanical assemblies from concept through production.
- Utilize advanced CAD modeling and simulation tools to optimize components for performance and reliability.
- Conduct thorough FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to ensure structural integrity under dynamic loads.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical and software engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Oversee prototype fabrication, testing, and validation cycles to meet strict quality and safety standards.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Manage engineering documentation and BOMs in compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in machine design or robotics.
- Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
- Proven track record of designing high-precision moving mechanisms.
- Deep understanding of GD&T, manufacturing processes (machining, injection molding, sheet metal), and material science.
- Experience with motion control systems, actuators, and sensor integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
