Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects using CAD (SolidWorks) and simulation tools (ANSYS)
- Develop innovative solutions for propulsion, structural, and thermal management systems
- Conduct FEA/CFD analysis to validate designs and optimize performance
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure producibility and cost-effectiveness
- Document design processes, specifications, and test procedures
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for aerospace or high-tech industries
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Proven track record of designing complex mechanical systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Active PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months
