Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to maximize throughput and minimize waste.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineering and supply chain, to ensure seamless production transitions.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and develop corrective action plans.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards (OSHA) and quality regulations (ISO 9001).
- Lead the implementation of Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the production floor team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing planning tools.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles.
- Proven track record of process improvement and cost reduction.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
