Responsibilities
- Optimize Production Processes: Analyze current manufacturing workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements that increase throughput and reduce waste.
- Equipment Lifecycle Management: Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshoot complex machinery issues, and collaborate with vendors for repairs.
- Quality Control Leadership: Oversee quality assurance protocols, ensuring all products meet strict ISO 9001 standards and customer specifications.
- Lean & Six Sigma Implementation: Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive cost reduction and operational excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Procurement, and Assembly teams to ensure seamless product development and launch cycles.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce rigorous safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Cost Analysis: Perform detailed cost-benefit analyses for new equipment and process changes to ensure financial viability.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
- Methodologies: Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is highly preferred.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with a proven track record of troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present technical data to executive stakeholders.
