Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and quality.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and failure mode investigations for production line issues.
- Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Implement and monitor Lean Six Sigma projects to reduce cycle times and scrap rates.
- Manage capital equipment projects, including budgeting and vendor selection.
- Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and MES systems.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred), and Kaizen.
- Experience with PLC programming and robotic automation is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
