Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing processes to maximize throughput and minimize waste.
- Continuous Improvement: Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to identify bottlenecks and drive Kaizen events across production lines.
- Equipment Management: Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot complex machinery issues and oversee the integration of new automation technologies.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure strict adherence to ISO 9001 and client specifications.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and production staff, fostering a culture of safety and technical excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D and Supply Chain teams to translate technical designs into scalable production solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing environments, preferably in aerospace or medical device sectors.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and PLC programming is highly preferred.
- Methodologies: Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
- License: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various plant sites as needed.
