Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Optimize production lines to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and improve throughput.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to transition new products from concept to mass production.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians on the factory floor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or production management.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and manufacturing simulation tools.
- Strong knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement principles.
- Experience with PLC programming, CNC machinery, or robotic automation is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
