Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and effectively.
- Implement and optimize lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen) to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.
- Oversee production scheduling, inventory management, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, control costs, and identify areas for efficiency gains.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and regulatory compliance across all operations.
- Mentor, train, and develop a high-performing production team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to resolve issues and drive strategic objectives.
- Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field. Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
- Proven track record of implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of production planning, inventory control, and supply chain management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid knowledge of safety regulations and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
