Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Manage the end-to-end logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management to ensure 100% service level agreement.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement logistics strategies that align with company goals, focusing on cost reduction and process optimization.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate and maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers, freight forwarders, and shipping agents.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing logistics team to drive productivity and operational excellence.
- Cost Control: Monitor logistics costs, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions to ensure budget adherence.
- Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with local and international regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and logistics software; strong data analysis capabilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex logistical issues efficiently.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
