Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistics and supply chain strategies to optimize costs, improve service levels, and enhance efficiency across all operations.
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments (e.g., Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing) to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement new technologies and best practices in logistics and supply chain management to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PL providers to secure favorable terms and service levels.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and generate reports to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant domestic and international trade regulations, customs requirements, and environmental policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior managerial role.
- Proven expertise in managing global supply chains, including international freight, customs, and compliance.
- Strong command of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or CLTD are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
