Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Analyze shipping data and KPIs to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend process improvements.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and carriers to negotiate favorable terms and rates.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including customs laws and safety standards.
- Lead a team of logistics coordinators, providing mentorship and performance feedback.
- Prepare detailed reports for executive stakeholders regarding operational health and cost analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Strong proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Associates).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and create actionable insights.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in both written and verbal English.
- Valid passport and willingness to travel as required.
