Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive logistics strategies to improve service delivery and cost efficiency.
- Oversee multi-modal transport operations including FTL, LTL, and intermodal freight management.
- Maintain compliance with all DOT, OSHA, and environmental safety regulations across all facilities.
- Analyze performance data to identify bottlenecks and implement actionable process improvements.
- Lead, train, and mentor a cross-functional team of logistics coordinators and dispatchers.
- Manage key carrier relationships to ensure capacity availability and competitive rate structures.
- Report directly to the COO regarding key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational budget management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a high-volume logistics or transportation environment.
- Deep understanding of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and ERP software (SAP/Oracle preferred).
- Proven track record of managing large-scale transport budgets exceeding $5M annually.
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
- Strong knowledge of federal transportation regulations and cross-border shipping requirements.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to negotiate with high-level stakeholders.
