Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end transportation operations for regional distribution hubs.
- Analyze supply chain performance data to identify bottlenecks and cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage relationships with third-party carriers and optimize freight procurement strategies.
- Ensure strict compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and state transportation safety regulations.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to exceed KPIs regarding on-time delivery and operational efficiency.
- Implement advanced TMS (Transportation Management Systems) to digitize manual workflows.
- Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
- 5+ years of experience in high-volume transportation or logistics management.
- In-depth knowledge of TMS platforms and supply chain analytics tools.
- Expertise in DOT compliance and heavy freight regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual transportation budgets.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to pivot rapidly in a dynamic environment.
