Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistical strategies to optimize regional freight throughput.
- Manage end-to-end transportation vendor relationships to ensure cost-efficiency and service reliability.
- Utilize advanced TMS (Transportation Management Systems) to track KPIs and identify operational bottlenecks.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to meet daily delivery targets and safety compliance standards.
- Analyze supply chain data to forecast demand and adjust fleet capacity dynamically.
- Ensure full adherence to FMCSA regulations and local transportation safety mandates.
- Collaborate with warehouse and procurement departments to synchronize inventory flow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in high-volume transportation operations or freight forwarding.
- Proficiency in modern Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and ERP software.
- Proven track record of managing fleet operations or third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead diverse stakeholder groups.
- Advanced certification such as CLTD or CSCP is highly preferred.
