- Manage relationships with key carrier partners to ensure service reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor KPIs related to on-time delivery, transit times, and operational throughput.
- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex logistics bottlenecks in real-time.
- Implement data-driven process improvements using modern TMS platforms.
- Oversee departmental budgets and ensure compliance with federal transportation regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse and transit efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in transportation and freight operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Transport Management Systems (TMS) and ERP software.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and high-level analytical skills.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing diverse, multi-site teams.
- Deep understanding of DOT regulations and industry safety standards.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with executive-level presence.
