Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize distribution efficiency.
- Oversee daily logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective routing.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of logistics coordinators and warehouse personnel.
- Implement advanced warehouse management systems (WMS) and data analytics to track KPIs.
- Collaborate with international vendors and stakeholders to streamline procurement and transit processes.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate freight contracts to maximize margins.
- Ensure full compliance with local, federal, and international transportation regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related business field.
- 5+ years of experience in high-volume logistics, distribution, or supply chain management.
- Expertise in ERP systems and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder).
- Proven track record of managing multi-modal transportation networks.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex logistics data.
- Excellent leadership, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
- Certification in APICS, CSCP, or CLTD is highly preferred.
