Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies to improve distribution efficiency.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety compliance and high productivity levels.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize logistics costs.
- Implement data-driven inventory management systems to reduce bottlenecks and lead times.
- Lead, mentor, and foster professional development for a logistics team of 20+ staff members.
- Utilize TMS and WMS platforms to monitor real-time shipment performance and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to scale operations during peak volume periods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in logistics, warehousing, or transportation.
- Proven track record of managing complex supply chain operations with a focus on cost-saving initiatives.
- Advanced proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to influence and inspire diverse teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or APICS certification is highly preferred.
