Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistical strategies to optimize freight movement and reduce transit costs.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a cross-functional team of warehouse and transport coordinators.
- Oversee fleet management and third-party carrier relationships to ensure 99% on-time delivery rates.
- Implement advanced data analytics to monitor KPIs and identify areas for operational improvement.
- Ensure full compliance with DOT, OSHA, and international freight safety regulations.
- Manage end-to-end supply chain projects including process automation and capacity planning.
- Facilitate effective communication between internal stakeholders, vendors, and end-clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in transportation or distribution management.
- Expertise in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and ERP software solutions.
- Deep understanding of North American freight regulations and logistics market trends.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of managing large-scale teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in predictive modeling and reporting tools.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or APICS certification is highly advantageous.
