Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring seamless movement of goods across domestic and international channels.
- Develop and execute cost-reduction strategies while maintaining high service level agreements (SLAs).
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of logistics coordinators and warehouse supervisors.
- Leverage advanced TMS and ERP platforms to track real-time KPIs and identify operational bottlenecks.
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and carrier partners to optimize freight spend.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal transport regulations and safety standards.
- Drive process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related business field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in high-volume logistics, distribution, or supply chain management.
- Expert-level proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Proven track record of managing large-scale operational budgets exceeding $10M.
- Strong analytical mindset with deep experience in data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively at the executive level.
- Certification in APICS (CSCP or CLTD) is highly desirable.
