Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistical strategies to optimize supply chain performance.
- Oversee daily fleet operations, ensuring strict adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of dispatchers, warehouse managers, and administrative staff.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with international partners to streamline cross-border freight processes.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service level agreements to ensure cost-efficiency.
- Utilize advanced TMS platforms to monitor real-time tracking and improve delivery precision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in high-volume transportation or freight management.
- In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations and hazardous materials handling requirements.
- Exceptional proficiency in Transport Management Systems (TMS) and ERP software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex logistics data sets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in APICS or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is highly preferred.
