Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce transit costs.
- Oversee end-to-end transportation operations, ensuring compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations.
- Manage relationships with key 3PL carriers and freight forwarding partners to ensure service level agreement (SLA) adherence.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of logistics coordinators and analysts.
- Implement advanced data analytics to forecast demand and mitigate supply chain disruptions.
- Optimize warehouse throughput and inventory accuracy through LEAN management principles.
- Report directly to the COO on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational scalability initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and TMS platforms.
- Demonstrated expertise in LEAN Six Sigma methodologies or related process improvement frameworks.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets into actionable strategies.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar shipping budgets.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing high-performing remote or on-site teams.
