Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end logistics operations, focusing on safety, compliance, and throughput efficiency.
- Analyze supply chain performance data to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable process improvements.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate freight rates to optimize operational margins.
- Oversee warehouse management system (WMS) integration and ensure 100% inventory accuracy.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing operations team through coaching and career development initiatives.
- Coordinate with procurement and sales departments to ensure seamless fulfillment cycles.
- Ensure full adherence to local, state, and federal logistics regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in logistics, warehousing, or transportation management.
- Expert-level proficiency in WMS/ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Associates).
- Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Excel or SQL skills.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale budgets and operational teams.
- Deep understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Exceptional leadership and cross-departmental communication skills.
