Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive logistics strategies to optimize end-to-end supply chain performance.
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and carrier partners to ensure service level agreements are exceeded.
- Implement advanced warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS) to increase operational visibility.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify bottlenecks and implement cost-saving process improvements.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
- Coordinate with procurement and sales departments to align logistics capacity with seasonal demand spikes.
- Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations, safety standards, and domestic transportation policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain management in a corporate environment.
- Proven expertise in managing multi-modal transportation networks and distribution center operations.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- APICS or CSCP certification is considered a significant advantage.
