Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to optimize freight movement and warehouse throughput.
- Manage end-to-end transportation budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of fleet coordinators, dispatchers, and warehouse supervisors.
- Implement advanced TMS (Transportation Management System) software to improve real-time tracking and visibility.
- Ensure full compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and environmental mandates.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce operational downtime and fuel consumption.
- Collaborate with international partners to manage multi-modal shipping channels efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in high-volume transportation or logistics management.
- Expert-level proficiency with industry-standard TMS and ERP platforms.
- Deep understanding of DOT, FMCSA, and hazardous materials transportation regulations.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale operational budgets and personnel teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and crisis management skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with stakeholders at all levels.
