Apex Global is seeking a dynamic Senior Logistics Operations Manager to oversee our Midwest distribution network. You will be responsible for streamlining global workflows, optimizing freight spend, and driving technological integration across our fleet and warehouse divisions.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistical strategies to ensure on-time delivery performance across North American supply chains.
- Direct cross-functional teams in the oversight of warehouse operations, last-mile delivery, and inventory accuracy.
- Negotiate high-value carrier contracts and leverage data analytics to optimize freight shipping costs.
- Implement lean methodology initiatives to reduce lead times and improve overall warehouse throughput efficiency.
- Lead safety and compliance audits to ensure 100% adherence to DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales departments to forecast seasonal demand and adjust resource allocation accordingly.
- Mentor and develop mid-level operations staff to build a high-performance culture of accountability and excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in logistics, distribution, or transportation management.
- Expertise in TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) software.
- Proven track record of managing high-volume logistics budgets exceeding $5M annually.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience managing multi-site remote teams.
- APICS (CSCP) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is highly preferred.
