Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce cost-to-serve.
- Direct end-to-end supply chain activities, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of logistics coordinators and warehouse floor supervisors.
- Oversee vendor and carrier relationships, ensuring strict adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
- Leverage advanced logistics software and ERP systems to monitor real-time distribution performance.
- Drive continuous improvement projects utilizing Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.
- Manage budget planning, forecasting, and resource allocation for regional distribution hubs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in logistics operations or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale warehouse or freight distribution operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets into actionable insights.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance culture.
- Industry certifications such as CSCP, CLTD, or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt are highly preferred.
