Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a high-performing logistics team of 20+ warehouse and dispatch staff.
- Oversee daily freight operations, ensuring KPIs for on-time delivery and cost-efficiency are exceeded.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to streamline warehouse throughput and last-mile delivery.
- Maintain full compliance with DOT, OSHA, and international shipping regulations.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales departments to forecast capacity needs and manage vendor relationships.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce operational waste and enhance service speed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in high-volume freight or transportation management.
- Expertise in TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and warehouse management software.
- Proven track record of managing P&L budgets exceeding $5M.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build culture in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Deep understanding of federal transportation laws and industry safety standards.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategy.
