Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies to improve supply chain velocity and reduce overhead costs.
- Oversee end-to-end transportation operations, including freight forwarding, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and quality benchmarks.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable process improvements.
- Manage relationships with key 3PL partners and carriers to ensure service level agreements are consistently met.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives within the warehouse management system (WMS) and transportation management system (TMS).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in high-volume logistics or distribution environments.
- Advanced proficiency in TMS/WMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder) and data visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of domestic and international transportation regulations and compliance standards.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proven track record of managing complex, time-sensitive projects.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or PMP certification is highly preferred.
