Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistical strategies to optimize fleet utilization and distribution routes.
- Direct end-to-end transportation operations, ensuring strict adherence to DOT regulations and company safety standards.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of dispatchers, warehouse coordinators, and freight analysts.
- Monitor and analyze real-time KPIs to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with international carriers and partners to negotiate contracts and ensure seamless cross-border transit.
- Manage the annual logistics budget, focusing on cost-reduction initiatives without compromising service quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in transportation, freight, or logistics management.
- In-depth knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and fleet tracking software.
- Proven track record of managing complex supply chains in a high-growth environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
- Certifications such as CLTD (Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution) are highly preferred.
