Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic transportation plans to increase regional delivery efficiency by 15%.
- Manage relationships with key carrier partners and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Oversee fleet compliance, safety regulations, and DOT reporting standards.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable operational solutions.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate new route-optimization software.
- Mentor regional supervisors and ensure adherence to company safety protocols.
- Monitor budget allocation and P&L performance for the logistics division.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in transportation operations management.
- Expertise in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and ERP software.
- Proven track record in fleet management and driver safety compliance.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities in a high-pressure environment.
- Certification in APICS or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is highly preferred.
