Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily execution of logistics operations, including freight forwarding, warehousing, and distribution.
- Manage and cultivate relationships with key carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers.
- Analyze logistics data and KPIs to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of logistics coordinators and support staff.
- Ensure strict compliance with local customs regulations, safety protocols, and international shipping standards.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve complex logistics issues and ensure client satisfaction.
- Develop and manage the logistics budget, forecasting costs and optimizing resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in logistics operations or supply chain management.
- Strong working knowledge of global freight forwarding and customs regulations (e.g., HS Codes, Incoterms).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and logistics management software.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Proven track record of leading teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
