Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistical strategies to optimize supply chain throughput.
- Manage end-to-end freight operations, ensuring timely delivery and cost-efficiency.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of fleet coordinators and dispatchers.
- Implement advanced TMS (Transportation Management Systems) to track key performance indicators.
- Negotiate contracts with third-party carriers to secure competitive pricing and service level agreements.
- Oversee regulatory compliance including DOT safety standards and environmental mandates.
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and engineer proactive solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in high-volume transportation or logistics management.
- In-depth knowledge of North American freight regulations and shipping logistics.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale operational teams and budgets exceeding $5M.
- Expertise in industry-leading TMS software and advanced data analytics tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Industry certifications such as CSCP or CLTD are highly preferred.
