Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies to improve supply chain velocity.
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers and domestic freight carriers to optimize costs and service levels.
- Oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Analyze logistics KPIs to identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven process improvements.
- Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to manage inventory levels and fulfillment timelines.
- Mentor and lead warehouse supervisors and logistics coordinators to drive performance excellence.
- Manage the annual logistics budget, identifying areas for cost reduction without sacrificing quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in logistics, warehousing, or transportation management.
- Proven track record of managing complex distribution networks and multi-site operations.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets into actionable insights.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing large, cross-functional teams.
- Professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CLTD) is highly regarded.
