Responsibilities
- Lead and scale domestic and international logistics operations to meet aggressive fulfillment KPIs.
- Negotiate and manage strategic contracts with multi-modal carriers, 3PL providers, and customs brokers.
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain visibility, ensuring real-time tracking and exception management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce transportation costs and optimize delivery lead times.
- Manage risk and compliance protocols for international shipments, including hazardous materials and trade regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate logistics strategies with sales and inventory forecasting.
- Mentor a high-performing team of logistics coordinators and analysts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record in negotiating carrier rates and optimizing last-mile delivery solutions.
- Expertise in TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and ERP integration (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets into actionable strategies.
- Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and international import/export compliance (incoterms, customs).
- APICS or CSCP certification preferred.
