Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistical strategies to improve lead times and decrease operational overhead.
- Oversee end-to-end transportation management, including freight procurement and carrier relations.
- Utilize advanced data analytics to forecast demand and optimize inventory distribution patterns.
- Direct cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and safety standards.
- Implement lean management principles to improve warehouse throughput and material handling efficiency.
- Lead vendor negotiations and manage third-party logistics (3PL) service provider performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the entire supply chain lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-modal transportation networks.
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable operational strategies.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing remote or geographically dispersed teams.
- APICS or CSCP certification is highly preferred.
