Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize end-to-end transportation operations to ensure on-time delivery and cost-efficiency.
- Manage relationships with key carrier partners and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Develop and implement data-driven KPIs to measure performance, safety, and operational excellence.
- Oversee fleet compliance and regulatory adherence according to DOT and FMCSA standards.
- Mentor and lead cross-functional teams to improve warehouse and distribution workflow efficiency.
- Utilize advanced TMS (Transportation Management Systems) to streamline freight routing and capacity planning.
- Execute strategic initiatives to reduce fuel consumption and carbon footprint across regional operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Deep understanding of freight brokerage, FTL/LTL shipping, and global supply chain dynamics.
- Proven track record of managing large budgets and improving operational margins.
- Expertise in TMS software implementation and data analytics (Tableau, SQL, or Excel).
- Strong knowledge of federal transportation regulations and safety protocols.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to crisis management.
