Responsibilities
- Direct daily transportation operations and terminal performance across multiple shifts.
- Implement lean logistics initiatives to reduce transit times and operational overhead.
- Manage vendor relationships, including carrier negotiations and performance monitoring.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing team of dispatchers and warehouse supervisors.
- Ensure 100% compliance with FMCSA regulations and safety standards.
- Analyze logistics KPIs to identify bottlenecks and provide scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to optimize inventory flow and storage logistics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in high-volume transportation, freight, or distribution management.
- Expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Proven track record in budget management and cost-reduction strategies.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and industry safety protocols.
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with changing priorities.
