Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic plans to optimize regional transportation routes and carrier performance.
- Oversee daily logistics workflows, ensuring 100% compliance with safety and industry regulatory standards.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of coordinators, dispatchers, and warehouse personnel to achieve peak operational efficiency.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable, cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with international partners and internal stakeholders to manage end-to-end supply chain transparency.
- Manage operational budgets, including P&L accountability and vendor contract negotiations.
- Utilize advanced TMS (Transportation Management Systems) to track real-time freight movement and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in the transportation or freight logistics industry.
- Deep understanding of DOT regulations, OSHA compliance, and federal transportation laws.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing multi-modal transportation operations (Road, Rail, Sea).
- Proficiency in high-level data analysis tools and modern Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of managing high-performing, dispersed teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make critical decisions under pressure.
