Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring seamless coordination between freight carriers and warehouses.
- Implement data-driven strategies to reduce transit times and operational overhead by 15% annually.
- Manage relationships with key 3PL partners to ensure strict adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Lead cross-functional teams in troubleshooting supply chain disruptions and implementing corrective actions.
- Utilize advanced TMS platforms to monitor real-time shipment visibility and inventory accuracy.
- Develop and mentor a team of logistics coordinators to foster professional growth and operational excellence.
- Ensure full compliance with local, federal, and international transportation regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in logistics or distribution management.
- Expertise in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and ERP software (SAP or Oracle preferred).
- Deep understanding of freight forwarding, last-mile delivery, and warehousing best practices.
- Proven track record of managing complex vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
