Responsibilities
- Design and execute strategic logistics plans to optimize inventory flow and reduce lead times.
- Manage relationships with key 3PL partners and global freight carriers to ensure cost-effective performance.
- Oversee end-to-end transportation management systems (TMS) to maintain 99.9% shipment accuracy.
- Lead a cross-functional team of logistics coordinators and analysts to meet daily throughput KPIs.
- Implement lean methodology across warehouse operations to eliminate waste and increase productivity.
- Provide regular reporting to executive leadership regarding supply chain performance, risk management, and budget utilization.
- Maintain compliance with all international trade regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in logistics, warehousing, or transportation management.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale supply chain budgets exceeding $10M.
- Expertise in utilizing Tier-1 ERP and TMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder).
- Deep knowledge of import/export regulations and international freight forwarding protocols.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop high-performing operations teams.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is highly preferred.
