Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistics strategies to improve service levels and reduce operational costs.
- Oversee end-to-end transportation management, including carrier negotiations and performance monitoring.
- Implement lean methodology across warehouse and distribution workflows to eliminate waste.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of logistics coordinators and analysts.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare strategic reports for executive leadership.
- Ensure full compliance with local, federal, and international transportation regulations.
- Manage relationships with key 3PL partners and external vendors to ensure service continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in logistics operations or supply chain management.
- Expertise in TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Deep knowledge of import/export regulations and domestic freight forwarding.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data sets to drive strategic improvements.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of managing large-scale teams.
- APICS (CSCP) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is highly preferred.
