Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize costs while improving service levels and delivery times
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ professionals, fostering collaboration and driving performance metrics
- Analyze logistics data using advanced tools to identify inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers, carriers, and vendors to ensure service excellence and cost-effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, safety standards, and customs requirements
- Lead digital transformation projects implementing WMS, TMS, and IoT solutions for real-time visibility
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive experience in logistics operations with 3+ years in leadership roles
- Proven expertise in transportation management, inventory optimization, and distribution networks
- Advanced proficiency in logistics software (SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder) and data analytics tools
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs compliance, and cross-border logistics
- Track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives reducing logistics expenses by 15%+
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with experience managing crisis situations in supply chains
- Professional certification (CSCP, CLTD, or CPIM) highly desirable
