Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize end-to-end logistics operations including warehousing, transportation, and last-mile delivery.
- Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives to reduce operational costs and increase throughput.
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and strategic shipping partners.
- Analyze performance KPIs and implement data-driven solutions to improve on-time delivery rates.
- Ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations and safety standards.
- Mentor and develop a cross-functional team of logistics coordinators and warehouse supervisors.
- Drive continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
- Expertise in TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, SQL, or BI visualization tools.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar logistics budgets.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- APICS (CSCP/CLTD) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is highly preferred.
